Returning Objectivity to our Appellate Courts

Dear Texas Voter:

Early in my legal career, I worked with a man known as the “dean” of Texas civil appellate law. His name was W. James Kronzer. During my eight years with “Mr. K,” I wrote dozens of appellate briefs to Texas appellate courts and the Texas Supreme Court. Mr. K's only complaint was that I was “too objective.” He thought my true calling was to serve as an appellate justice. I think he was right. Please help me accept that call.

Sincerely,
       Leslie C. Taylor
